Correct adjustment of the pellet mill pressure roller will not only result in maximum production capacity of the pellet mill, but will also minimise wear on the rollers and dies, and will avoid unnecessary stresses within the pellet mill. After the pellet mill pressure roller is installed into the ring die, the gap between its outer surface and the inner surface of the ring die is adjusted by the eccentric shaft of the pressure roller.
Adjust the position of the pressure roller by unscrewing the pressure roller adjusting bolt against the flange of the eccentric shaft adjusting block. (Note: When the eccentric adjusting block rotates in the opposite direction of the ring mould rotation, the pressure roller and the ring mould should move in the direction of contact. Otherwise, the pressure roller is not installed correctly, and should be reinstalled correctly according to the above requirements.
After the pressure roller is adjusted to the correct position, tighten the bolts on the loosened pressure block first, then tighten the adjusting bolts on the pressure rod and lock it.
